How Skinebi works

For buyers

1. Browse listings on the homepage or by category (rifles, knives, gloves, pistols, SMGs, sniper rifles, shotguns). Each listing shows the GEL price, USD price, condition, float, pattern, and StatTrak status where applicable.
2. Sign in with your Steam account. Skinebi uses Steam OAuth — we never see your Steam password.
3. Pay by Visa or Mastercard in GEL. Payments are processed by the Flitt provider over a secure channel; Skinebi does not store your card details.
4. The seller sends you a Steam trade offer. Accept it inside Steam using your Steam Mobile Authenticator.
5. The skin arrives in your Steam inventory, subject to Steam Trade Protection (Valve's standard hold of up to 7 days for newly traded items).

For sellers

1. Sign in with your Steam account and install the Skinebi Connect browser extension. The extension keeps your Steam session in sync so listings stay backed by a real, available inventory.
2. Pick the item you want to sell from your Steam inventory and set a GEL price. Skinebi shows a recommended price based on Steam Community Market data.
3. When a buyer pays, you receive a notification. Send the Steam trade offer from your Steam account within the time window shown in your sale dashboard.
4. Once the buyer accepts the trade, Skinebi holds the funds during the Steam Trade Protection window. After it elapses, your payout is released to your Skinebi balance, less the 5% commission.
5. Withdraw your balance to a Georgian bank account via IBAN.

Fees and payouts

The standard seller commission is 5%. Deposits to your Skinebi balance carry a 2.5% processing fee, and withdrawals to your card carry a 1.5% + ₾1 fee. There is no listing fee and no buyer markup beyond the price shown.

Payouts are released to the seller's Skinebi balance after the Steam Trade Protection window expires (typically 7 days from the buyer's acceptance on Steam). This window is set by Valve, not by Skinebi.

Trust and safety

• All authentication runs through Steam OAuth. Skinebi never sees your Steam password.
• Card payments are tokenized by the Flitt processor. We do not store your card data.
• Listings are backed by a live Steam inventory check via the Skinebi Connect extension, which reduces the risk of a seller listing a skin they no longer own.
• Buyer protection: if a seller fails to send the trade in time, or sends the wrong item, the purchase is automatically cancelled and the payment refunded.
